I do not like it when these [foreign] governments approach and influence our administrators. All [our officials] are noble and they are all the protectors of the rights and legislations of our country in due time. I am afraid of the foreign influences in our affairs. We should commit to the alliance with all nations without accommodating their imposed dominance and prevent the intrusion of foreign dominants. It means you decide for yourself and we decide for ourselves. More caution should be exercised. We must be alert to the foreign governments’ interference. The British Governemnt, for example, is telling us that a government agent from another country has to be dismissed. We should preclude such a maneuver wisely.
